No image to post this time - just an update. I'm working with color again! I'm working on my first color drawing in years. It's about time, isn't it?. This one isn't a commission - it is just a fun drawing. I'm really enjoying it, and if it turns out well, I'll post it on the blog. If it turns out well I hope to sell it.

Also, Gayle has done a lot of work over the past couple of years that I'm planning to post. He has designed tee-shirts, programs for school plays, ads, a media guide for a high-school basketball team and other things that can be shared. He's going to send me some image files that I can post soon.

This portrait of Mark Twain was commissioned by a University Library for a "Mark Twain" room. I was really happy to get the commission. It was my first commission for someone other than a private individual. I finished this in January, 2009.
